David Brett

David Brett is currently the Associate Director of LLMs at Recursion, where they are engaged in developing large language models. Previously, they held the same title at Exscientia, focusing on integrating LLMs within the drug discovery pipeline. David earned a PhD in Accelerator Physics from the University of Manchester, where their research involved simulations for the LHC upgrade. They also worked as a Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, building complex distributed systems. David completed their MPhys in Physics at The University of Manchester.
