David Stiles

David Stiles is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical pharmacology, currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Recursion since August 2023. Stiles has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held senior roles at Vigil Neuroscience and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included developing pharmacometric PK/PD models and systems pharmacology models for early-stage compounds. Prior positions at Pfizer and Medtronic involved leading clinical pharmacology efforts and conducting in-depth drug distribution analyses in the brain. Stiles began their career with engineering roles at General Motors and Chrysler, focusing on system modeling and acoustic engineering. Stiles earned a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and has advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
