Giulia Chemi

Giulia Chemi is a Senior Computational Drug Designer with extensive experience in computational chemistry and drug design. Currently employed at Recursion as a Senior Computational Drug Designer II since November 2024, Giulia previously held the position of Senior Computational Drug Designer at Exscientia from August 2022 to November 2024. Giulia's earlier roles include a University Internship at Università degli Studi di Siena in 2016, focusing on the rational design of bioactive molecules for the FAAH enzyme, and serving as a Junior Research Fellow, where the emphasis was on developing computational methods for drug repurposing as potential antimalarials. Giulia completed a PhD in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Dundee, working as a Computational Chemist from January 2020 to July 2022.
