Jacob Cooper

Jacob Cooper is a highly experienced Staff Data Scientist at Recursion since July 2019, specializing in the intersection of computer vision and drug discovery, and has held previous roles at the same company, including Senior Data Scientist, Data Scientist, and Associate Data Scientist. Prior to Recursion, Jacob served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Utah from August 2013 to June 2019, contributing to research on hybrid species. Jacob also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on neural crest differentiation in cancer models, and participated in the Kanryu Fellowship at Saitama University. Jacob holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Utah and a BA in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
