John Ansede has extensive experience in the field of toxicology and non-clinical development. Currently serving as the Director of Toxicology at Recursion since August 2021, John previously held the position of Senior Director of Non-Clinical Development at Parion Sciences from April 2009 to August 2021. Prior to that, John was the Associate Director of ADME-Tox Products at Qualyst, Inc. from March 2003 to April 2009 and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - School of Pharmacy from November 2000 to February 2003. John earned a PhD in Biochemistry and a BS in Biology from the University of South Carolina, completing the doctoral program in 2000 after starting the undergraduate program in 1991.
