Joseph Carpenter

Joseph Carpenter is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Recursion since February 2019. Previously, Joseph held various roles at Recursion, including Senior Director of Chemistry, Director of Chemistry, and Principal Scientist. Before joining Recursion, Joseph gained valuable experience as a Senior Research Investigator I at Bristol Myers Squibb from July 2010 to January 2018. Joseph earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Princeton University, where studies were completed between 2006 and 2010, and also attended Caltech from 2005 to 2006.
