Kyle Hansen

Kyle Hansen is a highly experienced data scientist with a strong background in biomedical engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Recursion since May 2021, Kyle focuses on decoding biology to develop new disease treatments. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at Recursion, Data Scientist at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Research Scientist at Philips, where contributions spanned healthcare data integration and genomic analysis. Academic qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Utah.
