Kyle Heath is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Recursion since July 2020, previously serving as a Computer Vision Research Scientist at Vium from November 2014 to July 2020, and as a Computer Vision Researcher at Bay Sensors from October 2013 to November 2014. Earlier experience includes an internship with Google focused on developing a web application for "smart photo" technologies, and various internships at Nokia Research Center, Bosch Research, SICK AG, and Logikos, Inc., where Kyle contributed to mobile vision research, 3D model acquisition, optical character recognition, and software engineering. Kyle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
