Matthew Kent

Matthew Kent is currently the Director of Real World Evidence at Recursion and has extensive experience in data analysis and education. Previously, they served as a Research Data Analyst at the Simons Foundation, contributing to the SPARK research project, and held various roles at Northwestern University as a Teaching Assistant, supporting graduate courses in data science. Matthew also mentored students at Springboard and taught data science courses at NYC Data Science Academy from 2019 to 2021. Prior to these roles, they were a Data Analyst at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where they collaborated on research in urologic oncology. Matthew is pursuing a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
