Matthew Pfeiffer

Matthew Pfeiffer is an experienced professional in chemical manufacturing and development, currently serving as Senior Director, CMC at Recursion since September 2018, after previously holding the position of Director of CMC. Prior to Recursion, Matthew worked at Cytokinetics as Associate Director of Chemical Manufacturing from January 2017 to August 2018. Matthew's career includes roles such as Research and Development Manager at Balchem Corporation, Development Manager and Development Chemist at Albion Minerals, and Senior Scientist I at both Onyx Pharmaceuticals and Exelixis. Matthew began the career as an Associate Scientist at SDG, Inc. Matthew holds a PhD in Natural Product Synthesis from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemistry from Davidson College.
