Otto Morris

Otto Morris is a Senior Biological Data Scientist currently employed at Recursion since November 2024, previously holding the same title at Exscientia from October 2021 to November 2024, where notable contributions included the development of the explainable machine learning pipeline, DepExML, for biomarker discovery. Prior to those roles, Otto worked at The Francis Crick Institute and Genentech, focusing on image analysis and stem cell metabolism research, respectively. Additionally, research experience includes postdoctoral work at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and a PhD at The Institute of Cancer Research, where the focus was on immunology. Otto's academic background also includes a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
