Richard Gildea

Richard Gildea is a Senior Scientific Software Engineer at Recursion, bringing extensive experience in developing scientific software and data analysis pipelines. Previously, they held positions as a Software Developer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they contributed to the Phenix suite for macromolecular crystallography, and as a Senior Software Scientist at Diamond Light Source, focusing on X-ray diffraction data processing. Richard also completed a PhD in Chemistry at Durham University, where they were involved in the development of the Olex2 software.
