Tyler Strampel currently serves as the Associate Director of EHS at Recursion, a position held since December 2025. Previously, Tyler worked as an EH&S Manager at Serán BioScience from June 2021 to November 2025, and as an EH&S Specialist II at Lonza between November 2018 and June 2021. With earlier roles as an EH&S Specialist at Precision Castparts and as an Environmental Health and Safety Professional at Oregon State University, where responsibilities included serving as a laboratory safety consultant, Tyler also gained experience as a Chemical Waste Specialist at Colorado State University. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Colorado State University, attained in 2014, and attended McPherson College from 2010 to 2011.
