Peter Fine

Peter Fine has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Peter began their career as a Robot Control System Engineer at BAE Systems and then moved on to become an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at the University of Sussex in 2006. In 2009, they became Head of Anti-Fraud at Skoosh and then Data Scientist at Ocado in 2012. In 2013, they took on the role of Senior Data Scientist at 15gifts and in 2020, they became a Data Science at T0DAY. Most recently, they were appointed as Development Team Lead - Simulation & Optimisation at the UK Health Security Agency in 2021 and is currently a Senior Developer at Recycleye.

Peter Fine completed a BSc in Cognitive Science (Computer Science, AI, Philosophy, Psychology) at the University of Leeds between 2000 and 2004. Peter then went on to obtain an MSc in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems - Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience, Software Development at the University of Sussex between 2004 and 2005. In November 2012, they obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera.
