Nicolás Behar has experience in various roles and positions throughout their career. Nicolás is the CEO and Co-founder of RECYLINK, a company focused on helping businesses and organizations improve their waste management through digital solutions and promoting a circular economy. At Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, they serve as a university professor, teaching sustainable development courses and receiving recognition for their teaching excellence. Nicolás has also worked in research and development at Weeshing. In addition, they have held leadership positions at SERVIU Metropolitano, where they led a team in implementing an online payment tracking system, and at TECHO-Chile, where they served as a technical project coordinator. Nicolás has experience in quality management in construction at agua santa construtora ltda and served as an inspector for the Municipalidad Isla de Pascua, where they contributed to implementing housing subsidies programs. Overall, Nicolás Behar has a diverse and extensive background in waste management, sustainability, construction, and education.
Nicolás Behar obtained a Master's degree in 2016 from The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued an MSc in Environment and Development. In the same year, they also attended the TERI School of Advanced Studies, where they completed a short-term program in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
Prior to that, Nicolás Behar attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Civil Construction. Nicolás started their higher education journey at Universidad Central (CL) from 2003 to 2005, studying Engineering in Construction.
In terms of additional certifications, Nicolás Behar obtained the Divemaster PADI certification from PADI in January 2011.
