Derek Drayer

Derek Drayer has a diverse work experience. Derek began their career in 2008 as a Merchandiser for G & J Pepsi Cola Bottlers. Derek then worked as a Bank Teller for United Bank & Trust Company in 2009, followed by internships at First Kentucky Securities and Unified Trust Company, N.A. in 2011. In 2012, they joined Credit Suisse as an Assistant Vice President - Investment Banking and Capital Markets Finance, a role they held until 2017. During this time, they also served as an Investment Banking Department CFO Analyst and an IB Operations Analyst, where they monitored risk within the Investment Bank, led projects to minimize risk of users with access to move funds & assets globally, provided oversight of funds moving in and out of the bank against sanctioned entities / countries, and was responsible for reconciling accounts for senior management & checking reconciliations done by colleagues to send to regulators. In 2017, they moved to Teamworks as a Finance Associate, followed by a Business Development MBA Intern role at Sonodot in 2019. Most recently, they are the Director of Finance and Manager, Finance and Business Analytics at Red e App.

Derek Drayer completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Finance from Elon University - Martha and Spencer Love School of Business between 2008 and 2012. Derek also attended Universidad de Alicante in 2010. In 2019, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Lisbon MBA Católica | Nova and completed an MBA Summer Immersion program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
