James Dare

James Dare has a diverse work experience in the field of construction and design. James started their career in 2001 as an MEP CAD Co-ordinator at Skanska, where they worked on producing 3D models for services and fabrication modules. James then joined AMEC in 2003 and specialized in producing 3D structural steelwork models for offsite fabrication. At Arup, they worked as an MEP CAD/Revit Technician and contributed to projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Aquatic Centre and the Bryghusprojektet in Copenhagen.

Moving on, James joined Scitech Engineering in 2012 as an MEP Cad Co-ordinator, where they worked on projects related to pharmaceutical processing facilities and hospital surveys. James then worked at Deerns as a Revit/BIM Technician, focusing on data center projects across Europe. At Arup, they served as a Senior Revit/BIM Technician and contributed to the development of the new Lime St office tower.

In 2018, James took on the role of Construction and Development Design Coordinator, working for various clients and producing MEP coordinated designs and 3D models. James later joined Flight Club Darts as the Building and Property Development Lead, where they managed the build process for new venues.

Most recently, James has been with Red Engine Team since 2019, initially as the Head of Property Design and currently as the Property Design Director. James'sresponsibilities include overseeing property design and managing design teams.

Overall, James Dare has had extensive experience in MEP coordination, BIM implementation, and property design, with a focus on construction detail and project management.

James Dare completed an ONC degree in Construction in Built Environment at Southampton College from 1994 to 1996. James also pursued a 4-year apprenticeship at Accolade Building Services Ltd from 1994 to 1998.
