Paul Vale

Paul Vale is a retired Chartered Engineer with over 40 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly within data centres, hospitals, and schools. Formerly the Technical Director at Red Engineering Design, they specialized in energy audits and sustainability, serving as a judge for the RICS Annual Sustainability Awards and a BREEAM assessor. Their past positions include Mechanical Design Manager at Hewlett-Packard and Senior Manager at Schofield Lothian, where they contributed to various sustainability projects. Paul holds a BSc(Hons) in Building (Environmental) Services Engineering from the University of Bath and has extensive education in building engineering services.
