Ben Turner

Lead Software Engineer at Red Games

Ben Turner has a long and varied work experience. Ben started their career in 2008 as an Executive Officer in the California National Guard. In 2009 they took a Software Engineer Co-Op role at L-3 Communications, where they worked on visualization of terrain data. In 2012 they moved to Zynga, where they were a Feature Developer for FarmVille, developing new features from gameplay and UI to server. In 2014 they founded Junto Games, where they created all aspects of mobile strategy game, Star Engine, in Unity (C#). In 2016 they moved to Wooga, where they were an Engineering Lead, leading a team of 4 Software Engineers while also contributing to the codebase. In 2019 they moved to Microsoft, where they were a Software Engineer II for Microsoft Mixed Reality Studios, working on the Galaxy Explorer project for HoloLens 2. Ben also worked with the Mixed Reality Toolkit (MRTK) Team to develop and test the V2 version for Hololens 2. Finally, they are currently a Senior Software Engineer at Red Games Co.

Ben Turner obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
