Max Winter

Max Winter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and proofreading. Since November 2015, Max has served as a Freelance Proofreader for W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. and has been involved in various freelance writing roles since 2012, including passage and item writing for Grades K-2 and 6 for Rainbow Concepts and fact-checking for Red Line Editorial on nonfiction works. Max has contributed to a wide range of publications, including the Boston Globe and New York Times, and has worked as a Senior Editor for Triumph Learning, overseeing the development of educational textbooks. With additional experience as an Editor at Kirchoff/Wohlberg and continuous freelance proofreading for New Directions Publishing, Max brings a wealth of expertise to the literary and educational sectors. Max holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Iowa and has pursued studies at Columbia University and Duke University.
