Red Pine Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: RPX) is a Canadian gold explorer headquartered in Toronto, Canada, primarily involved in the identification, acquisition and development of properties in Ontario. The Company is supported by Chairman of the Board Paul Martin, former CEO of Detour Gold and Directors boasting a high pedigree of experience at Alamos, Barrick, Generation Mining, Detour Gold and Paramount Gold Corp. Led by CEO, Quentin Yarie, with over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, Red Pine is strengthening its position by further validating its potential as a major resource and player in the Michipicoten region. 

The Company’s flagship 100% owned  Wawa Gold Project is located 2 km southeast of the Municipality of Wawa, in Northern Ontario. The property, comprising over 6,900 hectares, hosts several former mines with a combined historic production of 120,000 oz gold. The property currently hosts a NI 43-101 resource with over 700,000 oz of gold (both indicated and inferred) at more than 5 gpt gold, contained between surface at 350 metre depth, that Red Pine is aggressively working towards expanding.

The Company recently announced its exploration and drilling plans for 2022 designed to expand the existing NI 43-101 mineral resources and to explore the multiple additional highly prospective targets on the property, an estimated 25,000 metres of diamond drilling planned for 2022. Earlier drill programs discovered mineralized zones beneath the Surluga Deposit and six other mineralized exploration targets adjacent to and beyond the current NI 43-101 resources.

The Company is actively exploring the Wawa Gold Project and plans to continue its drilling across primary resources, Surluga and Minto Mine, proving depth extension, as well as high-priority greenfield targets through a fully funded drill program into 2022.
