Roberto Díaz

Roberto Díaz's work experience begins with their current position as a Crawler Analyst Team Lead at Red Points since June 2022. In this role, they lead a team of 5-7 members, handles Jira administrative tasks, implements new features in a common Python library for web scraping bots, and reviews Python code and yaml templates developed by the team.

Before joining Red Points, Roberto worked at AMAC Automotive Services as a Senior Backend Developer from May 2021 to June 2022.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Developer at kitconcept GmbH from November 2019 to May 2021. Here, they were responsible for administering and maintaining cloud and physical servers with Ansible scripts. Roberto also handled the migration of Government Site Builder environments to Plone.

Roberto has also worked at several positions in UPCnet. Roberto was a PHP Developer from June 2019 to October 2019, a Python Developer from December 2013 to June 2019, a Ruby Programmer for a short period in September 2013, and a PHP Programmer from March 2013 to September 2013. Roberto was also involved in web technology and CMS development, specifically in Python for CMS Plone, from an unspecified date in 2008 to February 2013. Additionally, they served as a Technical Support specialist, managing Windows and Linux systems, Active Directory, and creating software packages from 2001 to 2008.

Roberto's career began with their role as a Becario de Centro de Cálculo de EPSEVG at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya as a user support and workstation maintenance from 1999 to 2001.
