Blake Steck has over 20 years of experience in the media and marketing industry. Blake began their career in 1999 as a Digital Content Producer at MTV Networks. In 2003, they took on the role of Director of Content at GameBattles/Major League Gaming, where they launched 8 new content channels and developed content strategies based on market trends and site traffic analytics. In 2005, they moved to Hearst Television as Managing Editor of Digital, where they were responsible for the short-term and long-term management of digital properties and initiatives. In 2010, they joined Double Dare Studios (Tokii.com) as VP, Marketing & Member Value, where they were responsible for the development and execution of go-to-market, acquisition, conversion and pricing strategies. In 2011, they co-founded Brightbulb Media, where they served as Managing Partner. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Internet Marketing Manager at ROAR! Internet Marketing. Blake currently serves as Media Strategy Director at Red Rocket Studios since 2021.
Blake Steck's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, obtained in 2003, and a period of study at Full Sail University from 2004 to 2005. Blake has also obtained certifications in Content Marketing and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in March 2020, Google AdWords and Google Analytics from Google in April 2016, and Analytics 301 for Developers from Cardinal Path.
