Dan MacLachlan

Dan MacLachlan is the Chief Financial Officer of red violet. Dan offers over 14 years of experience as the chief financial officer of data-driven technology companies.

Previously, Dan served as Chief Financial Officer of information solutions provider, cogint. Dan served in the roles of Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at TransUnion after it acquired substantially all of the assets of TLO, an information solutions provider, in December 2013. Dan was the Chief Financial Officer of TLO since its inception. Prior to TLO, Dan served as the Chief Financial Officer of JARI Research Corporation, a partnership with the Mayo Clinic advancing proprietary cancer therapeutic technologies using targeted radioactive therapy. Prior to JARI, Dan was a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), specializing in the criminal investigation of public corruption and civil rights violations, including government fraud, election fraud, foreign corrupt practices, hate crimes and human trafficking.

Dan holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from Nova Southeastern University, a B.B.A. in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.
