Manjunath Bhat

Manjunath Bhat has an extensive background in engineering and management, currently serving as SVP of Engineering Firmware/Software at RED Digital Cinema since October 2014, following a progression from VP and Engineer. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at AltaSens where as Director of Image Sensor SOC, all engineering teams reported under Manjunath's leadership, contributing to the development of various image sensor products. Additional roles include Manager of Digital Design at AltaSens and Senior Digital Design Engineer at Biomorphic VLSI Inc, focusing on the design and implementation of image processing algorithms. Early career experience includes software development at D. E. Shaw & Co. Manjunath's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an M.S. in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
