Matthew Biederman has significant expertise in firmware engineering and systems engineering, currently serving as Sr. Director of Firmware Engineering at RED Digital Cinema since February 2007, where previous roles included Director of Firmware Engineering and overseeing camera firmware development. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Systems Engineer at Biomorphic VLSI from June 1998 to December 2006, focusing on digital still and video cameras as well as cell phone camera integration. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UCLA between 1996 and 2000.
