Mike Herrera

Mike Herrera is an experienced web engineering manager and backend Ruby developer currently at RED Digital Cinema since July 2015, where responsibilities include leading the development, operations, and maintenance of a custom e-commerce application and improving customer experience. Prior to this role, Mike co-founded reBaked, a freelance marketplace connecting businesses with independent contractors, and operated Devop Labs focusing on custom web application development. Additional experience includes working as a systems engineer at LANAIR Group and a Linux system administrator at Joe Media Company, where valuable skills in systems maintenance and web traffic analysis were developed. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Bakersfield.
