John Baker

John Baker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John is currently working as a Senior Director of Engineering at Red 6 since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Stelleo LLC starting from March 2022. John also worked as a Strategic Advisor at WriggleBrew from April 2022 to December 2023. John held the position of Senior Director at Magic Leap from February 2018 to May 2023, where they played a key role in business growth, contract negotiations, and product development. Before that, John worked as a Freelance Writer and Novelist from June 2013 to December 2022, publishing two novels that achieved significant success. John also founded Chosen Realities LLC in April 2015, a boutique firm focusing on augmented reality products. John's earlier roles include Chief Engineer & Product Manager at Intelligent Decisions, Program Manager at Raytheon, and Strategy & Technology Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. John also pursued their passion for music as a band member in Failed Pro Athletes from March 1999 to August 2002.

John Baker holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Automation from Penn State University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering & Systems Management at the University of Central Florida from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, John has also obtained various certifications including Amazon Web Services Cloud Technical Essentials, Google Data Analytics, Scrum Master Certified (SMC), and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner.
