Lucas Reed is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in avionics, power systems, and analog design. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Red 6 since June 2025, Lucas previously held the same title at Ursa Major from April 2022 to May 2025, where responsibilities included designing an in-orbit propulsion avionics box and managing project schedules and budgets. Prior experience at Ball Aerospace involved compressor motor driver designs and power regulation systems. Additional roles include internships at Autodesk and the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, where Lucas worked on various projects related to electrical systems and satellite power management. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, attained in 2017.
