Bayan Mohammad

Bayan Mohammad's work experience began in 2015 as an Engineering Placement at Al Nimer Construction company. In 2015, they also founded and volunteered for Social Society until May 2018. Bayan then worked as a Jr. Structural Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors from October 2019 to January 2022. At Heerema Marine Contractors, they were involved in designing steel grillage and sea-fastening for the load-out and transport of jackets, topsides, and piles. From January 2022 to March 2023, Bayan worked as an Engineer at Red7Marine, where they oversaw engineering design scopes for multiple projects. Currently, Bayan is serving as a Lead Engineer at Red7Marine, responsible for coordinating temporary work and designing various arrangement and methods of grillage and seafastening.

Bayan Mohammad completed an MSc in Civil Engineering with Integrated Design from UCL in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford from 2015-2018. In 2013-2014, they attended Al Ahliya Pvt. for an unspecified degree and field of study. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training from RelyOn Nutec UK in February 2024 and an Appointed Person (Red Card) certification from CITB in December 2023. Other certifications include Health, Safety & Environment test for Managers and Professionals, Temporary Works Coordinator, and various online courses from LinkedIn in 2020.
