Ben Sharp

Ben Sharp has extensive work experience in the field of IT and technology. Ben currently works as a System Engineer at Red8 and as an Infrastructure Consultant at Benjamin Sharp Consulting, both positions they started in 2020. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Senior Technical Delivery Lead at xTECH360 from July 2019 to January 2020. Ben also held the position of Enterprise Engineer at All Covered from July 2017 to July 2019.

Before joining All Covered, Ben worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Xceed Group from April 2016 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were employed by Wipro as a Storage Administrator from September 2014 to April 2016, where they were responsible for managing and supporting large storage environments.

Ben's earlier experience includes roles at NetApp as an Escalations Engineer from January 2013 to September 2014, and as a Technical Support Engineer from January 2011 to March 2013. At NetApp, they provided customer support, implemented and configured NetApp products, and specialized in SAN, Metrocluster, and virtual infrastructure support.

Before working at NetApp, Ben gained experience as a Network Administrator at Luxottica Retail from May 2007 to January 2011. Ben was responsible for administering enterprise server operating systems, supporting server infrastructure, and managing user accounts.

Ben's earlier experience also includes a position as a Systems Administrator at Portland Public Schools from February 2005 to May 2007, where they managed enterprise server operating systems and implemented Microsoft ISM Server. Additionally, they worked as a LAN Administrator at Apogen Technologies from October 2004 to December 2004, providing server support and deploying biometric security equipment.
