Steve Balzano began their work experience in 2000 as an IT Helpdesk at Mattel. Steve then moved on to Sprint in 2001 and held positions as a Data Sales Manager and later as a Sr. Account Manager. In 2006, they joined Equinix, where they held multiple roles including Sr. Account Executive, Account Director, and Client Executive. Steve also served as the Equinix Impact Regional Lead for philanthropy and volunteering. In 2022, Steve joined SUSE as a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive and later joined Red8 in 2023 as a Global Client Executive.

Steve Balzano has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from UC Santa Barbara. Steve also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Business from California State University-Dominguez Hills. Additionally, they attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles. Steve has obtained several certifications including Zoom Essential Training, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Cloud Computing Careers and Certifications: First Steps, Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Selling with Empathy during Uncertain Times, and Real Estate Salesperson from the California Department of Real Estate obtained in 2006.
