Dan Smith

Dan Smith is an experienced Database Administrator and Database Reliability Engineer with a strong background in systems analysis and support. Since 2004, Dan has held various roles, including Application Analyst and Operational Specialist, where significant contributions were made in database management, data collection, report development, and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives such as a Personnel Management Database. Additional achievements include leading a Knowledge Management initiative and utilizing business process management methods to create efficient documentation and standards across organizations. Dan's earlier roles included PHP Programmer, IT Recruiter, Support Engineer, and Network Engineer, with a solid foundation in desktop support services from previous employment. Dan is currently pursuing education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, building on prior studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
