Rick Preston has extensive experience in program development and management within the energy sector and related industries. Currently serving in a program development role at Redaptive, Inc since January 2023, Rick focuses on large-scale energy efficiency retrofits and building intelligence. Previously, as an independent contractor with Hitachi's Social Innovation Business from November 2021 to March 2022, Rick led initiatives for EV fleet conversion and data center decarbonization. Rick's long tenure at Hitachi Consulting, spanning from April 2005 to March 2021, included roles such as Director and COO of Advisory Services, where Rick drove the development of technology-driven platforms across various industries. Additional roles at DigiTerra, CSG Systems, and Kenan Systems & Lucent Technologies further equipped Rick with expertise in customer success and product management. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Law, and Medical Ethics from the University of Chicago and completed executive education in Mastering Design Thinking at MIT Sloan School of Management.
