Galen Smith

Galen Smith is the current CEO at Redbox. Prior to their current role, Galen served as the Chief Financial Officer at Outerwall from April 2013 to September 2016. Prior to Outerwall, Galen served as the Senior Vice President, Finance at Redbox from April 2011 to March 2013 and as the Corporate VP, Finance and Treasurer at Coinstar from January 2010 to April 2011. Galen also served as the Director of Finance at Coinstar from July 2009 to September 2009 and as the Director of Corporate Finance from May 2009 to July 2009. Galen began their career as an Associate at Morgan Stanley from July 2007 to May 2009. Galen also served as an Adjunct Professor at Wheaton College from January 2005 to May 2007. In addition, Galen served as the Director of Development at Wheaton College from January 1999 to December 2007. Most recently, Galen served as a Fellow at the Wheaton College Center for Faith, Politics and Economics from January 2019 to December 2020.

Galen Smith has a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Wheaton College. Galen also attended the University of Washington.
