Pat Leamon

Pat Leamon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career as a Desktop Support professional at Oakton in 2000 and then worked as a Software Developer at Infosys Australia from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they joined Apoapsis as a Developer for a year before transitioning to Jacobs Rimell as a Developer for another year. They then worked at Sky Network Services as a Software Developer from 2008 to 2010. Pat then worked at Sensis as a Software Developer for a few months in 2010.

In 2011, Pat joined Redbubble as a Software Developer and progressed to become an Engineering Manager. During their time at Redbubble, they contributed to the company's growth from a four-member team to a team of 30+ engineers. They took on various responsibilities, including enabling other teams to scale and working on different technical aspects of the company's projects. They also worked as the Head of Engineering in San Francisco for a brief period, focusing on building a local engineering team. Later, they became the Head of Data Engineering and played a crucial role in establishing foundational data pieces and implementing data verification and reporting patterns. They also introduced cost instrumentation and monitoring for warehouse access at Redbubble. In May 2021, Pat was promoted to the role of Principal Engineer at Redbubble.

Pat Leamon attended RMIT University from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Science.
