April Stark Shubert has extensive work experience in the field of strategic program management. April began their career in 1998 as a SAS Programmer at Omnicare Clinical Research. In 2000, they moved to Merck as a Technical Specialist. In 2005, April joined parexel (formerly ClinPhone, formerly DataLabs) as Director, Study Services & Training. April then moved to Kimberly Clark Corporation in 2008 as Clinical Data and Systems Manager. In 2017, April returned to REDCap Cloud as VP Client Services, and in 2019 they took on the role of Process & Standards, Statistics at Merck. In 2022, they returned to REDCap Cloud as VP Strategic Program Management.

April Stark Shubert has a diverse educational background. April began their education at Central High School, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Arcadia University from 1994 to 1998. April then earned a MSIS in Information Science from Penn State University from 1999 to 2002.
