Attiya W. has worked in a variety of roles in the health care field since 2010. Starting in 2010, they were a Clinical Research Study Assistant at Rouge Valley Health System. In 2011, they became a Clinical Research-Personalized Medicine and Research Coordinator at University Health Network. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Health Informatics Student at York University, where they prepared briefing notes, analyzed Markov models and decision trees, and analyzed research results using GRADE.
