Jonathan Townend has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Jonathan is currently working as a Technical Lead at Redcentric since October 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at Piksel Inc from 2015 to 2021, including Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, and Engineer. Jonathan also worked as a System Administrator at Headland from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they were an IT Support Technician at Accident Advice Helpline from 2012 to 2013, where they provided IT support and maintenance for 300 users. Jonathan'sresponsibilities included Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Server Support, Microsoft Windows, VMware, TCP/IP LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Avaya Telephony/Site administration, Desktop Imaging, Microsoft Licensing, Bespoke ERP, Administration and Software installation, SharePoint administration, Acronis, Kaspersky Antivirus, Ecommerce support, detailed understanding of SQL, excellent customer service in an ITIL environment, meeting SLA targets, and Mobile Device Management. Prior to Accident Advice Helpline, they worked as an IT Service Desk Technician at Vow Europe from 2010 to 2012. Overall, Jonathan Townend has a strong background in IT support and management roles.

Jonathan Townend attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and IT. In addition to their university degree, they have also completed several certifications. In November 2019, they obtained the Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104 certification from Microsoft. More recently, in August 2022, they acquired the Azure Virtual Desktop Speciality AZ-140 certification from Microsoft.
