Amber Milavec

Amber Milavec is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in architecture, security, and team management, currently serving as an Engineering Manager for Reddit, Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this role, Amber was the Head of Architecture at Skillz Inc., overseeing architecture, product security, and compliance initiatives while leading the implementation of technical architectures and security roadmaps for a mobile gaming platform. Amber's career also includes significant contributions at Nike, where a long tenure spanned various roles including Sr Principal Architect and Principal Cloud/Technical Architect, emphasizing cloud infrastructure, microservices, and security compliance. In addition to technical expertise, Amber is an active teacher and speaker, mentoring engineers and contributing to the community through workshops and conference appearances.
