Billy Easley

Billy Easley is a seasoned public policy professional currently serving as the Senior Public Policy Lead at Reddit, Inc. since April 2021, where responsibilities include monitoring legislation, submitting public comments, and engaging with lawmakers. Previously, Easley held the position of Senior Policy Analyst at Americans for Prosperity, focusing on technology and criminal justice issues and coordinating legislative strategies across multiple state chapters. Prior experience includes roles as a Legislative Specialist for the United States Sentencing Commission and Legislative Counsel for Senator Rand Paul, along with internships in various legal settings. Easley is pursuing a Master of Laws in Law and Technology at Georgetown University Law Center, following a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from The University of Texas at Dallas.
