Carl Pearson

Carl Pearson, PhD, currently serves as a Staff Quantitative Researcher at Reddit, Inc., focusing on enhancing the quantitative UX research program for the consumer experience. Prior to this role, Carl worked as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Meta, concentrating on Facebook Shops, and previously held positions at UserZoom, Red Hat, and North Carolina State University. Carl has extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, having led significant projects and developed new research products. Carl earned a PhD in Human Factors and Applied Cognition from North Carolina State University, where significant academic contributions included publications and conference presentations. Additional roles have included user engagement and teaching assistance, reflecting a diverse skill set across research and education.
