Cathleen Li

Cathleen Li is a skilled machine learning engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Reddit, Inc. since October 2022, Cathleen previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Nextdoor, where significant contributions included enhancing notification delivery with machine learning and updating moderation intervention models using advanced NLP techniques. Prior to Nextdoor, Cathleen was an Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science and a Data Scientist at Khan Academy, where notable achievements included improving learner prediction accuracy and contributing to product growth through A/B testing. Additional experience includes data science roles at eSpark Learning and Aspire Public Schools, as well as research assistance at the University of Chicago. Cathleen holds both a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honors) and a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Chicago.
