Esme Luo is an accomplished engineering manager and machine learning engineer with extensive experience in AI and data science. Currently at Reddit, Inc. since November 2019, Esme has advanced from a machine learning engineer intern to an engineering manager, contributing to significant projects such as the development and productionization of image embedding for post recommendations. Prior to Reddit, Esme worked at Willis Towers Watson from September 2016 to May 2019 as a senior actuarial analyst, focusing on risk modeling, pricing, and market analysis in the insurance sector. Esme holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
