Jake Berliner

Jake Berliner is a Senior Software Engineer at Reddit, Inc., where they currently lead software development efforts. Previously, Jake worked at Snap Inc. and served as a Principal Software Engineer at Elsevier following the acquisition of Authess, where they contributed significantly to full-stack development and AWS infrastructure. They began their career as a Utility Project Development Intern at SunEdison, gaining valuable project management skills, and later held multiple roles in software and chemical engineering, including as a Manager and Lead Developer at Electra Vehicles, Inc. and a Chemical Engineer Associate at Lockheed Martin. Jake holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, where they were involved in research aimed at optimizing fuel cell technology.
