James Samuel

James Samuel serves as the Engineering Manager for Subreddit Experience and Software Engineering Manager for Growth at Reddit, Inc., where responsibilities include leading product innovation teams to enhance user engagement and grow international daily active users. Prior to Reddit, James held various leadership roles at TIER Mobility, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and monetization, and contributed significantly to IOD (iamondemand) through expertise in cloud computing and DevOps. James has also been involved in community-driven initiatives as a CTO Craft Ambassador and organized educational workshops for tech startups in developing regions. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry and further education in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Udacity, James brings a blend of technical proficiency and leadership experience across multiple organizations.
