Jonathan Garcia

Jonathan Garcia is a seasoned professional in diversity, inclusion, and belonging, currently serving as Lead at Reddit, Inc. since December 2023. Prior to this role, Jonathan held various positions at Discord, including Manager and Program Manager in Inclusion, Diversity, & Purpose from May 2021 to December 2023. Jonathan's extensive experience includes serving as Senior Director of Programs & Inclusion at Hack the Hood, and University Programs Manager at AI4ALL, where responsibilities included managing university partnerships and founding a scholarship program. Previous roles at the Kapor Center involved fostering inclusive culture and community engagement. Jonathan began a career in education as an AVID Tutor at Fontana Unified School District, supporting first-generation college students, after internships at Apple in the Music Editorial and Promotions department. Academically, Jonathan is pursuing a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts at Stanford University, following a Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands in Advancing Culture.
