Kate L. has extensive experience in user experience design, currently serving as a UX Designer at Reddit, Inc. since June 2018, focusing on anti-evil, internal tools, and trust, safety, and privacy initiatives. Prior to this role, Kate worked at Delta Dental of California and Berkeley Innovation, where responsibilities included UX design for various clients, including Walmart and Westfield. Additional experience encompasses UX design at the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and as a UX Design Intern at Walmart eCommerce. Earlier career milestones include coordinating marketing and design for the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and web design for The Daily Californian. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by a brief academic tenure at Sciences Po in 2015.
