Kyle Maxwell

Kyle Maxwell is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in technology and team growth. Currently serving as Engineering Director for the Developer Platform at Reddit, Inc. since January 2019, Kyle previously held multiple roles including Engineering Director for Video and Principal Engineer, where innovative prototypes like the livestreaming service RPAN were developed and team expansion from 2 to 18 engineers was achieved. As Chief Technology Officer at Houseparty, part of Epic Games, Kyle relocated engineering operations from Israel to the US, scaling the team from 10 to 25 engineers while architecting the app infrastructure. In earlier roles, Kyle founded Onemorecloud, LLC and worked at Twitter as a Senior Software Engineer, leading significant storage system projects. The career began at CastTV as a Search Architect, focusing on enhancing video search relevance. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a focus on Computational studies from UC San Diego.
