Matthew Dornfeld

Matthew Dornfeld is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Reddit, Inc., where they lead ML retrieval efforts for ads. Previously, Matthew served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Engineering Manager at Capital One, where they designed scalable products for data scientists. Their early career included a Data Scientist role at Insight Data Science and a Postdoctoral Researcher position at The Rockefeller University, where they contributed to advanced machine learning applications in both taxi driving recommendations and dolphin motion tracking. Matthew earned a BS in Physics from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a PhD in Physics from Rockefeller University.
